Right next to the Mexican border. Gorgeous park with sites on the water. Park is clean, with exceptional restrooms. Boat rides are offered on the weekends. Birding walks on Friday and Monday mornings. We will definitely come again!
A big parking lot next to a grassy treed picnic area. Toilets, picnic tables and a fire pit are available. Free one-night camping. Good place to stop while traveling.
This Park normally closes November 1st, but the weather has been so warm this year, it's closing December 1st!. Wooded, clean sites; some with electricity. Very good cell service. Nice trails lead right off the campground. Is stay again!
We pulled in late and parked beside a picnic shelter. It cost us $3.50 for the night, because we are seniors. Good WiFi and very quiet sleeping.
BLM land that is close to Guadalupe Mountains and Carlsbad Caverns. Great cell reception. A fenced in area of land, that has dumpsters, just of the highway. Some traffic noise, but not that bad. Free camping by two National Parks!
We had a reservation, but cancelled, after checking out the site. It would have been too unlevel for us to camp, we wouldn't have been able to put out the slide, and it would have been bad for our refrigerator.
