This is a small RV park right off a main highway a few miles outside of Jacksonville. The first thing you notice is the amazing view! You are able to see for miles. Denny met us when we drove up and helped us settle into our site. Full hookups with a concrete pad, very level. The laundry facility was good and free. Will definitely stay there again if in the area.
Stayed one night on our way home. Pads are gravel, drive through, level, and long enough for RV and car. Had to use the bath/shower and it was exceptionally clean. The clubhouse is the only place with WiFi, but has books, puzzles, and full kitchen. The river is a short stroll away with a nice walking path and place to view the sunset. Multiple deer by the rIver that are human friendly. Would definitely stay there again if in the area.
Stayed there 3 nights during our visit to the Texas Hill Country. The park is 5 minutes from Fredericksburg. The pads are gravel with full hookups. Very clean laundry facility. There is a central area with dog park and place to walk. The reason for the 4 rating is that our site was at the top of the park with a downward slope which made it very difficult to level. Fredericksburg is a must see and so are the wineries. And great restaurants too. If in the area, we would definitely return to this park.
This was our first outing in our recently purchased Class B. We stopped for one night on a holiday weekend but wish we had had more time. Although the sites were close together, they all had concrete pads, full hookups, were level, and had picnic tables. Great view of Lake Tyler. Also very clean. There is a store, great boat dock, and a vendor selling very good bbq. We will definitely come back if in the area.
