This is a great campground! It is pet friendly & they will check on your pets or even walk them! Water & electric sites are well spaced, roomy, quiet, & in the trees. It is near Mt Katahdin, Bacter State Park, & water (river/lake/pond). Owners Wendi & Marcel are kind, knowledgeable, & treat you like a friend. Their excursions are fun. Campground is very clean & well-kept. Wi-fi is finicky but the best they can get without solar/satellite setup. Verizon signal is 3-4 bars. I will definitely return.
Campground has grass RV sites that are pretty level with full hookups, tent camping, a small store with food & supplies. Sites are very close together with a creek running behind them. Only long enough for 30-35ft at the most. Shady a lot of the day. Campground is clean. Owners are very nice. They offer whitewater rafting trips—mine was great—8mi (2-3hrs) down the nantahala river. There is gem mining & a trout farm nearby.
Campground has cabins, RV sites with hookups, places for tent camping. RV sites are concrete pads, somewhat level. Cabins are fully stocked. Most are on hillside but a couple are easily accessible. Enclosed pavilion has restroom, shower, TV, soda machine, AC, & kitchen you can buy food cooked by owner. No wi-fi. I had two bar signal on verizon. Campground is close to the bottom of the tail of the dragon. Everything is very clean & kept up.
The sites are mostly level but are short & close to each other. Roads are narrow & hilly. Electric went out several times over the weekend. There is a lake with a marina. There is an outdoor pool & shower building. Mostly seasonal campers but some drive in sites.
Right by rodeo grounds. Owners are great. There is a small store, showers, cabins. Sites are on either side of small streets. (Best way I know to describe it) Sites are very close to each other. Trees all over. Park is on edge of town—great location.
Mostly seasonal campers. Has a small lake with fishing. There is an indoor pool & game room. There are activities all the time. Bingo every weekend. Some open sites & some in the trees. I think they are adding a few cabins.
Level concrete pads with plenty of room between spaces. Some in the open & some with trees. Very peaceful.
A great park with level concrete pads & space between sites. Some are in the open & some have trees. There is a store & a marina. There is a large lake for boating & fishing. The cabins are very nice!
Mostly seasonal campers. Drive in sites are set back & not near the lake. They have back in & drive through sites. There is a small store. It is close to Cleveland & has Good Sam discount.
Mostly seasonal campers. A nice lake for swimming & catch/release fishing. Sites very close to each other.
