This is a great campground! It is pet friendly & they will check on your pets or even walk them! Water & electric sites are well spaced, roomy, quiet, & in the trees. It is near Mt Katahdin, Bacter State Park, & water (river/lake/pond). Owners Wendi & Marcel are kind, knowledgeable, & treat you like a friend. Their excursions are fun. Campground is very clean & well-kept. Wi-fi is finicky but the best they can get without solar/satellite setup. Verizon signal is 3-4 bars. I will definitely return.

Campground has grass RV sites that are pretty level with full hookups, tent camping, a small store with food & supplies. Sites are very close together with a creek running behind them. Only long enough for 30-35ft at the most. Shady a lot of the day. Campground is clean. Owners are very nice. They offer whitewater rafting trips—mine was great—8mi (2-3hrs) down the nantahala river. There is gem mining & a trout farm nearby.

The sites are mostly level but are short & close to each other. Roads are narrow & hilly. Electric went out several times over the weekend. There is a lake with a marina. There is an outdoor pool & shower building. Mostly seasonal campers but some drive in sites.

Right by rodeo grounds. Owners are great. There is a small store, showers, cabins. Sites are on either side of small streets. (Best way I know to describe it) Sites are very close to each other. Trees all over. Park is on edge of town—great location.
