The views are amazing! If you love peace and quiet this is the place for you. All sites are amongst the very tall trees. There are several ponds around the campground for fishing and bird watching. Be sure to keep an eye our for deer as you come into the park! We had to stop a few times for them to move out of the driveway. All sites are full hookups. The other 7 campers here this weekend all appear to be longer term/seasonal. This wasn't a problem for us as they were working during the day and quiet at night.
Cons: The sites are a bit close, think KOA close. This might be a turnoff if the campground was full. The weekend we stayed there were 8 total campers, lots of empty sites between campers.
Nice large campground with plenty of sites. We stayed in B9. A full hookup site with a pretty level pad. Nice flat site with a nice fire ring and lots of mature trees. Lots of new full hookup sites have been added to the B loop recently. We've also stayed in the E loop. Nice large open sites, not as private as B loop.
Large campground with a nice mix of seasonal and overnighters. Clean common areas. Nice pool, camp store on site with a nice selection of camp gear. Snack bar with pizza, ice cream etc. Tons of planned activities for the kids. Movie nights, wibits (inflatable obstacle course on the pond), stocked pond, kayaks, Gaga Ball, RC track, jump pad, climbing wall etc etc etc!!
This is a yearly trip for us! Never disappoints.
We stayed from Sunday thru Wednesday. We had a nice large full hook site. It was partly shaded but could've used better drainage. Most full hook up sites had wet spots. They are adding more full hook up sites.
We did not use the facilities so no review there.
Old campground. Bathrooms were dirty and not cared for. Sites had very little gravel, we ended up getting 2 trucks stuck trying to get our camper out after the weekend. Pond was covered in algae and mosquito infested. Going there once was enough for us.
The whole campground is on a hill. Most if not all seasonal sites. The area we stayed was mostly the party crowd and didnt seem to respect quiet time. There is a long list of rules most do not follow. And ownership takes no responsibility. We had to ask several times for a picnic table and fire ring.
This is easily one of the most beautiful and well kept campgrounds we've stayed at. We spent a long weekend in a pull thru site. The bathrooms were clean, the showers we nice and the pool was well kept. Each site comes with a fire ring and picnic table both in good condition.
The pull thru sites were a tad small but nice and long. Even with the sites close together it was quiet and peaceful.
There is a nice path through the woods down to the reservoir, where you can fish and kayak.
Everyone we met were pleasant and welcoming, from the Staff, Owner's and Seasonal Campers.
Beautiful place, we are planning on making this a yearly stop.
