An Overpriced Gravel Lot

We were safe and enjoyed being in town close to my husband’s ortho while we waited to hear from the testing. That is the positive. The camp hosts here are about as lazy as I’ve seen. They wait until you’ve parked, leveled, slides out and set up until they inform you that you need to park your rig between the ( hardly noticeable) white lines. The sites have weeds, are gravel and most have no shade. But it’s close to Trader Joe’s and Costco. Sonoma county needs to find some camp hosts that would be helpful to the hook up process. Santa Rosa is a lovely town, and even through the COVID pandemic, everyone was wonderful. ( except the camp hosts) Beware.

Central between Zion and Bryce

Lovely family owned place in need of some TLC. It was centrally locates to Zion and Bryce but the campground needs upgrades. We were able to get Verizon signal and our Dish Network worked well here. Laundry was available and all need a good cleaning.

Beautiful views

This campground is clean and extremely small sites. The climb up to Virginia City ( elevation is over 6100ft) was beautiful in our 39 ft DP, but the site was small. If you have a travel trailer it’s a bit better but we felt on top of one another. Clean laundry, brand new at $3 a load! The little market has basic needs. The park is walking distance to town. We stayed for three nights and were glad to leave the small sites. Can get a little loud on the weekends.

Beautiful Campground

We spent two nights just passing through during COVID-19, and were pleasantly surprised at the hospitality offered to us. The campground was clean and had huge sites, most in wooded lots. The family who owns this campground are very friendly and made us feel like family. The campground is peaceful and relaxing. Wi-fi is available at the office area. Verizon on my phone at our site was weak. They plan to upgrade the WiFi to better accommodate visitors. Beautiful trails and a great view of Mt Shasta from on of them. Great campground.

Beautiful views

We stayed here three nights in the midst of the COVID-19 crisis and found a quiet haven. This is very pricey but clean. We enjoyed the location and explored Page and the beautiful sites around this lovely town. Again, very pricey so if your budget conscious, pass on by.
