Great campground. Good size spots with good distance between sites. Ramadas at each site provide precious shade. Lots of trash bins nearby. Long flat trail (bike/walk) starts at the campground. Note that is has a boat launch except there’s no more water in this area.
Great flat spot with great views. It’s inside the Elephant Butte lake state park, but seems to be a dispersed site. No one around. No amenities. There is a vault toilet maybe a half mile away. There are pay stations around. We had paid for a site on south Monticello campground but came here instead.
Off of main road, it’s about 10 miles + of washboard. A bit rough but wide road and fine when going slow. Lots of sites available, also very popular. Beautiful dragoon mountains. Stayed about 1 miles after the Slavin Gulch hike (great hike). Was here thanksgiving weekend (Nov 2023)
Very close to Dead Horse Point state park. Easy to access. A few sites (6-7?). Pay cash or by check at the entrance. BLM. Great views. Vault toilet was very clean. Picnic table and fire ring.
$45 (not $35). Need to reserve ahead. Very busy (memorial weekend).Water and electricity. Large picnic table. Stayed in site A50. Trees separate most sites. We had a nice view of mountain. Showers are in basin campground (non in arch) but heard the showers are amazing.
Gorgeous surroundings. Very quiet. A few spots. Had plenty of space for 2 RV camper vans. Close to the road, Goblin state park, little horse slot canyon. Zero amenities. It was very windy and sandy when we were there.
Many great spots available and easily accessible by low clearance vehicles (we have a camper class B van). Very close (less than a mile?) to the state park, and about 30 minutes from white sands NM. Very quiet. Cell signal. Dog friendly.
Many lots available from the main road all the way to the established campground. We had plenty of space for our 2 camper vans and easily accessible. There’s lots to do in the area; walking/hiking/MTB from the sites. No cell signal.
Agree with the other reviews. Directions were spot on. There is not much space for more than 1 or 2 vehicles. We drove a few hundred yards from the first spot and found a perfect spot for our camper van. Right along the Utah/Az state line. No shelter but gorgeous views and super quiet. Our dog loved it too.
Stayed right next to the reservoir. Easily accessible with a low clearance vehicle. Parked right next to the trail (hiking/OHV). Beautiful views and lots of birds.
