City Camping

This campground to us is city camping. The spots are right next to each other and there are a ton of people. The only good thing it has is the lake. You can just play in the water all day and it is right there. If you want to be close to the water and don't mind people then this is the place for you. **the ice cream is sooooo worth it!! DO IT!!!

Camping right on the beach

You can camp right on the beach or just steps away. It was really crowded when we went but we still enjoyed our trip. You can walk to the beach from your campsite and watch the sun set. The people are great and there is everything you need.

RIGHT ON THE RIVER

For an RV park - this place is great. You are right on the river and the owners are great. Clean bathrooms and showers. I would come back!! If you do the jet boat tour they will pick you up right at the campground. We highly recommend the jet boat tour!!

So green!

This was a great place to camp. Sooo many trees and the sites are like hidden gems. They feel so private even though you have neighbors right next to you. The park rangers are a little crazy about you putting your ice chests away - even if you are trying to cook. They said the bears look at them like candy.

Camping with people

This is a great campground but you are right on top of each other. Spots are close but it's worth it for the views and hiking.

Love Bucks lake

We have been comping here for 3+ years and we love it. The campground is nice and the spots seem to be spacious. It's close to the lake and market. We love to get ice cream before dinner :) Only negative - not all of the spaces have bear boxes and we had a nice visitor one morning. Be sure to put your food in your car if you don't have a bear box.

Small but great

This campground has a tent only loop (walk up to sites) and double spots for trailers. The double spot was nice as we had 3 cars and a trailer. We had plenty of room for our group. Clean bathrooms and nice showers. The lake is good for kayaking and fishing. . .not sure about swimming as it was a little low at the end of the season.

Tons of open space

We love this campground because of all the open space and you don't feel like you are right on top of your neighbor. Great place for groups.

A hidden gem

This is a small hidden little gem of a campground. They have flush toilets and bear boxes which makes it nice for those of us that tent camp. Close to the water and sites have plenty of space.
