Reelfoot is just a few hours from our Tennessee home and a great weekend spot. The campground is next to a waterfront restaurant with boat/fishing and a nice deck. There are several restaurants and stores close to the campground.
The camp store is small but has essential items and the folks were nice. They delivered wood to our site.
Loved the park, restaurant, and walking trails! Enjoyed the waterfalls and it’s a great biking park.
We love our site on the water, #98. It’s a pull through site with a nice deck. Pretty busy campground (especially during spring break🤣). Great water views and easy step down to the waters edge for fishing.
In our area, the bathroom/shower combo is adequate but needs an update. The shower water must be really warm as the bathroom was like a steam room when I opened the door.
Only downsides for us was the distance to the trash dumpsters, and the dump site gets really busy. They could really use 2 trash/dump sites as this is a large campground and it stays full.
We love the Fort Pickens A campground. It’s really hard to get a site so plan at least 6 months to get a site. We’ve been here in June and Dec but, Feb - March is the best time.
The laundry room is small and only has 2 washers and dryers so come prepared.
The beach is a quick walk and the trails are great for walking and biking.
This park is truly a hidden gem! It was fun walking through the goblins and the park is dog friendly!
Great little campground close to the Bumpus Mills Marina. Electric and water hookups with dump site at the entry/exit. Lots of flying bugs in the restrooms (cleaning crew was there at least twice a week).
The sites have plenty of room and the park is pretty quiet. Several sites are on the water.
The marina was a fun place with a pavilion/restaurant that has bands on the weekends.
This campground closes the first week of September.
Loved this RV park! The host were really nice and helpful. Sites were spacious and nice layer out with walkways. Not far from local businesses.
Nice clean park, friendly helpful folks, nice laundry room. Really close to Monument Valley.
We had a full hookup drive through site with lots of room. We took an amazing Monument Valley tour that picked us up at the campground- highly recommend.
Amazing park with incredible views. Nice visitors center, lots of trails, and large clean laundry building.
Our site was ADA09 in the Kayenta
Easy access and great folks. Took us to the site and helped with quick setup.
Clean quiet sites and great for short stops. We stayed one night on our way to Texas.
Campsites are mostly spacious and hosts are friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the trails and roads for walking/biking.
Not crowded and pretty quiet. August in Tennessee is hot and muggy!
Absolutely loved this park! Our site was an ADA and it was excellent. Lots of trails, waterfalls, and a great nature center.
Great location with easy access. Sites were good size and folks were friendly.
We only stayed one night passing through OK.
We’ll stay again!
The campsite was large and the views were spectacular. The camp store was great and the folks were nice.
We really enjoyed the restaurant! The owner and staff were extremely friendly and the food was great.
The site we got was really spacious and directly in front on the walking path (really convenient for dog walks).
The office folks were really nice and helpful.
We only stayed for one 2 nights but, we’ll stay again if we go back to Sante Fe.
Nice campground with decent size sites. Camp store was ok and laundry room was huge and pretty clean.
Mesa Verde NP was awesome!
Lots of great trails and boardwalks for walking, hiking, and biking. Most sites were “enough room” but, some were tight.
Watch out for the fire ants!
The beach was amazing but, you’ll probably want to drive as the boardwalks are far from most sites.
We stayed here one night traveling through NM. The sites were tight (typical KOA). Everything was clean and the folks were friendly. Easy in and out. Would stay here again for an overnight.
There are only a few sites with water and electric hookups. The dump location is directly in front of a site so you may need to dump elsewhere (we did because it was blocked by another camper at the time).
There’s a nice lake and walking paths. The place is dated but, the folks are friendly and nice stop for a couple of days.
We camped here on our way to Carlsbad Caverns.
I love Zion and the Watchman campground is great! It is crowded but, the views and trails are incredible.
Really hard to get a good site - B2, 4, 6, 48, 50, 52, 54, 55, 56 are the best in my opinion.
The shuttle rides are great!
Take or rent a bike!
