This is a good spot if fishing, boating, or water sports. Pull through sites with full hookups or grass sites for tents and all in between. Close to grand Coulee dam and all the attractions and right on banks lake.
For a town of Torrey with a population a little over 100, this is a Hotspot for through-passing travellers. Was booked fully at arrival and departure. Glad we had our 1 night reservation. Good spot if exploring capitol reef national park, also good spot for longer stays with washer and dryer on site and other services available. Long pull through sites for RV and motor homes. Would visit again if passing through and needed hookups. Cons: busy and expensive
No water, no power, no problems. Sometimes going back to the basics helps eliminate some of life's problems. Just some primitive camping, tons and tons of space per site, short walk to river, 8 minute drive to Lake, and deer that walk through the campgrounds snacking unafraid. Great 12 site spot.
This is a not so hidden gem of a camping spot for you and your family. Miles of trails leading to sites. Many very dispersed. Obviously no hookups but some of the beat views, sun rises, sun sets in or around Capitol Reef. Plus the lack of crowds made this very enjoyable. With a pass like America the beautiful, you may stay for 14 days. Enjoy!
This is a great spot for all. Big enough for families and great for couples or folks with kids. Plenty of outdoor space. Easy walk to the river which is usually much clamer and less busy than the nearby bumping lake. Located about 20 minutes from bumping lake on the same access road, you will fall in love with the quaint personality of this smaller, 10 site camp ground.
Clean and tidy state park camping. Big camp sites with plenty of room to gather, play, or eat and spaced out nicely from other sites. Ever some of the next door sites are not visible due to the plant life so that is great if privacy is your thing. Close to water. Close to beach. Lots of hiking trails good for all ages. ADA friendly and pets allowed while on leashes.
