Very nice lake campground, paved parking pads, lots of foliage, a good bit of lakefront sites, level pads with electric, water, sewer, picnic table, and fire ring..campground has a pool boat ramp, I noticed several permanent residences here, and yes the train is LOUD
First off the hospitality here is next level, the staff here goes above and beyond, from check in, through the end of your stay.. this was our first camping trip.. the campground itself is very well taken care of, all sites have 30/50 electrical, water and sewer, cell service was great, nice pool, game/tv room, office was well stocked from firewood,rv supplies, propane fill station.. they had hay rides for anyone interested, s’mores at the fire pit, bean bag toss, horseshoes, nice playground for the kids. Sites were really tight gravel pads, with a fire ring.. Helen is a couple mile ride. It was a fun time
Small tranquil campground, sites are kinda tight, very well maintained. Sandy rv pads that were pretty level,Bath house centrally located and very very clean, camp host exceptionally nice, Electric and water no sewer. Went very first week of July 2020 and it was HOT, sand knats were bad. The beach here was better than Destin, absolutely amazing, the bay was great for fishing and kayaking. Very short trip to the beach. Definitely a return trip coming soon
Stayed here May 2020. This campground takes up many many acres. We had a waterfront site with 30/50 amp, water, and sewer. The site was very spacious, level, with good shade. The amenities were awesome, the best bike riding ever, trails for miles and miles over land and water, huge pool, tennis courts, walking trails, fishing, kayaking etc. the only con I would say is beach access (it’s a haul). Definitely me and my wife’s favorite campground so far…. definitely worth the trip. Also many restaurants and shopping are in close proximity..
Campground is awesome, well stocked little store, outside air pump, very clean bath houses, pool was super nice, beach access is a bike ride away, dog parks definitely need work. It was so so hot the whole week. Bike ride to some great restaurants, oh yea kayaking with alligators 😳
Campground is ok, most sites are close, many trees, electric and water, gravel pads. Amenities here are great, Cloudland park has so much to do, hiking, bike riding, picnic’s with breathtaking views, waterfalls, kayaking a couple miles away
First time here, but already in love with this place, campsite we are in literally a few feet from the water, nice room in between sites. Bath houses are super clean. The campground is maintained very well , my only complaint would be there are several fallen trees that need cleaned up, some are taking away the scenery at certain sites. Town is not far, cell service on Verizon is 2 bars at best. Campsite has concrete level pad, water, 30/50 amp service, grill, lantern pole and fire ring
This place was very nice, we had site 96, 10ft off the water, concrete pad that was very level, bath houses were clean. There were lots to do here, hiking, bicycling, fishing, boating, tennis courts.. grocery store about 3 miles away with a few restaurants. Definitely a return trip in the plans
We had site 32 right on the water, this site is a little tight but the scenery totally makes up for it, although the sites are not on top of each other just this particular site is close to the street and is a tight squeeze for anything I would say over 26ft. We absolutely will be back to this well kept piece of heaven
This place has absolutely breathtaking views, nice lake, well stocked little office store, nice game room, did not do the equestrian part, but I’m sure it’s well worth it.. town is not far and has some good shopping and local restaurants. Definitely worth the trip…
Um it was ok, staff were great, campground definitely not well kept, beach access was really good, beach was really nice, for me personally the ferry noise and vibration was enough to keep me from returning, and we were in the back near the beach access and could hear the captain talking on the radios, hear the engines rumbling at 5:30 every morning and all day long.
