I camped here during the summer season of 2023. When I pulled into the campground it was just me and the camp hosts. They gave me the pick of what site I wanted. I swooped on one next to the river. The campground was beautiful and sites were good distances from each other. There are bathrooms and areas to top off your water. I choose this campground due to driving the 395 as my choice of route to explore. I would 100% recommend this campsite again.
This campground is very nice. The roads could use some work and if you have a RV/Trailer/Van you may want some block to help get you level. The sites are nicely spread out. Bathrooms are extremely clean. Overall I had a very nice stay aside from the weather being not so great.
I stayed here over the past weekend after a snow storm. There was still snow on the ground when I got there. I stayed in site 79 using a 16ft trailer. It was alittle bit of a tight spot to get into at first but the pad itself is very large. And surrounded by pine trees. Sites were somewhat spread out. Site 80 was alittle close. The restrooms were clean and well kept. Staff was friendly.
I enjoyed this campground a lot. Only stay one night by they had nice facilities and the camp spaces seem to be pretty spread out. They gave us a wonderful site and I was very pleased with my stay. Definitely want to return here.
The campground is really nice and offers a lot of amenities, including free fire wood. The rv/trailer sites are very level. I’d only have to argue with the placement of the power supply. I was in site 45 and my cord is on the driver side and my awning and entry door is on the passenger. The power outlets where on the opposite side. Lucky I had a extension cord and it worked out. The camp is very nice and really close to the lake. I fished the pond/marsh and fish did bite. Host were really friendly. The bathrooms could use some new stalls being that they have extremely short stalls. Very nice place to camp.
The facilities and being close to the wildlife was very nice. However the sites are very close together. And the site I got was very difficult to back into with my trailer due to it being a one way road and another camper having their vehicle parked on the side of the road. Even though when booking the site it said to make sure that the length of site you require is totaled with your vehicle and trailer/rv. Not just the rv/trailer. My site was extremely close to other sites and felt like I had to whisper during quite time to not bother them.
The campground is set up very nicely for the most part. However, it appears they tried to make more camp spaces by dividing the sites. So we are in site 33B and it was made from the original site 33. You then end up sharing the tables and pits with the site across from you. Other than that the restrooms are clean. There are sites next to the river that look very nice. The campground has a lot of nice features as well.
