I’ve reviewed this campground before but I feel like I need to reiterate what a great time we had here. The staff is super friendly and the sites are really spacious especially for a koa. We’ll certainly be staying again!!!
This campground was pretty decent. Some of the drawbacks were not some of the campgrounds fault. The first part of the week was pretty quiet the second part we had some very noisy neighbors. The other issue is people driving well over the 5 mph speed limit which then leaves people standing in a cloud of dust. The one thing that I thought was annoying was having to wear a bracelet, I get it you don’t want random people showing up to use your amenities but it’s inconvenient. Ok rant over! The area is beautiful, our campsite was very level and I enjoyed that they cleaned the fire pit before we arrived. I had an issue with the sewer hook up. The pipe was below grade and you had to be careful not to drop rocks down the pipe. I had to dig around it to get my adapter installed, no big deal. All in all it was a nice stay although I think their sister site in Lake George does a little better job.
This place was pretty decent. My only complaint was that the trees around our site were dead or at least had a lot of deadfall in them. I was laying in my hammock and the wind picked up so I sat up to observe if anything took off from our site and as soon as I sat up a big dead branch fell out of the tree and struck where my head had been. Needless to say I was very lucky! Other then that it was a great spot you could hike from the campground out to the Turkey trail or go check out the fire tower (It’s $5 per person and credit card only). The whole area is beautiful.
This place has never come up in any of my searches for a campground but my wife was frantically trying to find a place to stay for Memorial Day weekend. They had one site left that we were lucky enough to grab and I’m glad we did. The site was nice and level side to side. Their pool looked very nice although we did not use it. Same with their patio set up around the store. Hands down I would stay here again! This may be our new go to for quick little getaways!
We usually stay here for the first trip of our season. It’s always clean and the staff are real friendly.
Really impressed. I’m used to KOAs being very tight. Not so much here, it’s just right. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!
This was a nice campground! The staff were super friendly and the whole campground was tidy and clean. The only drawback was that the sites were tight and not the most level but we made do.
This campground while a little on the pricy side has phenomenal spots! They are big and private! I will definitely be coming back!
Clean campground a super friendly staff. Not far from the AT if you’re into that!
I really enjoyed this campground. We were across the street from the main campground which was nice and quiet. Right up my alley! We’ll be back for sure!
This spot is great! Super friendly folks there. Not to much to do in the area but it is somewhat close to the Appalachian Trail if you’re into that. It seems like the camp ground always has something fun going on. Stayed here a couple times and plan on returning!
This place was pretty nice. The bath houses were really clean. The only reason I’m giving this 4 stars is cause the spots were a little tight.
