Love this place!

There is lots to do here! I came here earlier in the summer for a day of hiking and really enjoyed it. We hiked for hours and only covered a small protion of the trails available. There are so many nice spots to take in the views. Its dog friendly but some trails have steep parts with ladders so you'll have to keep to the more shallow trails. The trails can also get full of people during the midday and early afternoon so get out early. I can't wait to come back amd explore all there is to see.

Small, secluded campsite with great trails.

We came here this year in place of our usual annual camping destination. The camp site was very small. We rented two sites side by side and they were the size one site at other camp grounds I have stayed at. That is my only complaint however! The trails are great here!! There are lots of rock formations that reminds the kid in me of castle ruins. The group of us joked about how much it reminded us if scenes from The Lord of the Rings. Speaking of ruins, they have Lime Kiln Ruins to observe and learn about as well as Indian Burial Mounds. The trails wrap around a lake and provide great views. I'm looking forward to coming back here again!

Our Traditional Summer Spot

A group of us come here annually for a friend's birthday wrekend. We camp, do the lazy river nearby, then camp so more. The sites are large and open. My only complaint is that there is a restricted number of tents amd cars you can have at each site, which makes it challenging for larger groups like ours. There is nearby bathrooms with showers and paved paths that run throughout the campsite.
