Decent fishing, quiet, friendly, lots of campsites, reservable via web

Lots of campsites available, everything from walk in to 90 ft campers. Multiple lakes with canoe/kayak rentals. No boat ramp on State property, however there are several within 20 miles.Lake Louisa is the largest lake, allows unlimited hp, jet skis, and has decent fishing for Bass and crappie, Lots of catfish also, with an occasional mudfish caught while fishing for other species.

Campgrounds are quiet, patrolled, very clean. Lots of walking trails to see the abundant wildlife. Although there is a warning for gators, I have been camping/fishing over a dozen times and have yet to see the first one. Children should have no problem catching bluegill at any of the lakes near campgrounds, worms are best, but crickets, minnows, and occasionally small spinners produce results.
