11day trip to visit Maine ,Acadia National Park Campground nicely located close to park but away from much of the crowding
Nice level sites easy to back in rv and set up
Great location along big hole river for fishing and hunting. Some rvs run generators all night long very rude, caused some tent campers to leave because of noise , I guess some people do not respect to space of others. This site is run by blm
and does not have hours posted or Regis posted as to noise.
Basic camping in established campgrounds and dispersed areas along the mile, mostly tenting but small trailers are possible , long drive in ,roads are dirt for last ten miles not good in bad weather.
Nice level sites and plenty of room , good for rv or tents. Only issue is bathrooms and showers need up dating, while usable not in good shape, was told that they will to getting redone soon, when finished it will be a first class campground with hiking fishing and site seeing all around.
