Fantastic park

No water. But the views at the park make up for it.

Wonderful location

Located amongst working orchards. This campground is nature forward. Deer and turkey may visit your campsite . No hookups. Make sure you get the pie.

Beautiful campground

Surrounded by the most beautiful mountains, this campground is located inside zion National Park.

Monster Campsites!

This park has huge campsites ! The pads are paved and they left a section of trees/woods behind each site to provide some privacy between neighbors. The bathrooms are very clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. The park is directly across the road from the paved bike trail which leads to the beach, marina, lodge and strip area. The trail is dog friendly but the beach is not. The campground is also pet friendly.

Beautiful camp

Camp is quite a ways off the road. It's nicely wooded with large trees. Most of the spots are paved for the RV to sit on some have concrete. The spots are really wide, like really wide! But not very deep. Some were close to the neighbors in the rear. The beach is really nice and looks like the ocean. The water is very clear and has lots of small colorful pebbles and Petoskey rocks. We enjoyed walking up and down the beach looking for these fossils. The bathroom and shower facilities were clean and in working order and just a short walk from any site. You are really close by way of a walking trail to town and the marina for boating or just to grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants in the historical town.

Dog lovers paradise

Camp ground was located off a main road but plenty far to have little noise. The camp is located inside the park so you go into 2 gates but really don't have to wait at the first main park gate outside the first time in. The spots were wide but not deep and the really only bad remark I have is the lack of any stone or gravel. The spots are mostly dirty sand and not real good for keeping dirt out of the camper or leveling the camper. Some gravel would make a world of difference here. The hook up at some sites we're almost on the wrong side of the camper but located in the rear of the site. The showers and bathrooms suffer from the lack of gravel also. Alot of times dirt was tracked into the bathrooms. Being right in the state park is nice. We spent alot of time at the dog beach which is super nice. And is also a great spot for sunsets. The water is also really clear here. The beach has bathroom facilities and food trucks for snacks.

Laid back

Nice little campground. Very quiet. Sites are generously sized. Roads are paved. The lake is very small with a swimming beach area.

Very new

Staying in section 2. It looks to be very new. Fresh gravel at every site and the road. sites are very big and spaced far apart from your neighbor. Also has many pull thru sites.

Super dog friendly

We brought our 2 weimaraners here for a couple years now. It's dog friendly with a dog friendly beach. Alot of the local restaurants are also dog friendly. This is a beautiful park with lots of walking trails . Some of the spots a kinda small so book accordingly.

1 stop of the season

Nice sized spots, wooded, paved roads beautiful lake. Not a garbage can to be found park wide! Dumpster at either end that's it. Camp sink says to not leave food in sink, where exactly are you supposed to throw it away?!?!

Beautiful trees

Nice little campground with great big beautiful trees. Walking distance to north beach which is super calm water. A nice bike ride to the other beaches. Facilities were modern and in nice shape. Pool looked to be in good shape. Roads inside the campground were a little small and some of the corners a little tight.

Great little campground

This is a small campground that butts right up against beach. The sites are responsible size but can be tough for longer rigs to get in. The sites are crushed sea shells and are lined with tropical foliage. The walk to the beach from the farthest site is about 2 mins. No campfires here but there are some charcoal grills and tables out at the beach. The beach itself is nice and quiet. If you want to go to siesta key beach its about 4 miles. The sand there is super white and soft. It's 99% quartz and is really rare.

Nice campground right on the water.

Worth the upgrade to lakefront sites.

Beautiful sunset

Nice campground on the water. Worth the upgrade to the lake front sites.
