My family of 6 stayed in our 31' travel trailer for 2 nights over the Father's Day weekend and it was a welcome respite for us as we passed through the area on a year long journey. The bathrooms were sparkling and the sites were very well kept. The park staff were friendly and helpful. Close to several things to do, hotsprings, historical sites, fossil beds, and the town which had a few restaurants. Definitely recommend!
Fabulous experience with stellar amenities. The location is stunning and a convenient 10 minute drive to Durango. The park grounds are very well maintained. The bathroom and laundry facilities are immaculate. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub which was crystal clear. We are assigned to site #1 for our 31' TT and truck. The site had plenty of space and was close to the common areas office, and bathrooms. This is a family owned and operated park and it is clearly run with pride. Everyone on staff was friendly and very helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return someday.
Overall, our family enjoyed our stay. We reserved a campsite for our 31' travel trailer at the end of May. The location was beautiful and though it was right off of the highway, we felt very safe and the campground was quiet. The staff were very friendly, however, it was difficult to access them since the office was usually closed and unless you saw them working out in the campground you didn't know where to go to find someone. The grounds were very well kept, clean laundry, shower, bathroom facilities. The only issue we had with the campsite was that there wasn't alot of gravel so when it rained our site got very muddy. RV rugs were not allowed so we ended up tracking alot of mud into our camper. Be sure to bring quarters for the laundry, there is no quarter machine and since the staff can be difficult to locate I didn't have an opportunity to ask if they have any to exchange. Close to Montrose and Black Canyons of the Gunnison National Park, easy access to these and highly recommend checking them out if you stay here!

I shopped around for a camp site to take my family vacation to Gatlingburg. This is the most beautiful campsite around. If you're looking for a wonderful place to stay with your RV, you should definitely plan a trip here. The two pictures are looking out of our front door in lot #32.

Absolutely stunning campground! My young family of six were instantly impressed when we pulled in and there were bounce houses, multiple playgrounds, a gagaball court, volleyball court, basketball court, game room, oh, AND a lazy river with a swimming hole! The sites were clean and spacious enough for our 31' TT and truck. They conveniently have a general store nearby and the Gatlinburg shuttle comes throughout the day for easy access to downtown (this is free to use and no carseats were required for the littles). This campground was peaceful and quiet, surrounded by the river and trees and scenic views of the mountains. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and well kept. Facilities were spotless! The only complaint I had was the laundry was a bit pricey and inefficient, but everything else made this just a minor inconvenience and didn't detract from our experience. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again! Highly recommend!
Our young family of six stayed for 2 nights during our cross country drive and wow what a welcome respite it was from driving! My kiddos LOVED the pool. We spent the entire day lounging and enjoying the basketball court, corn hole, park, ice cream social, and of course, the swimming pool! We stayed in site 4 which was super accessible, complete with picnic table and full hookups. I was really happy with the cleanliness of the park in general including the laundry facility, bathrooms, grounds, and shop. The laundry facility was very well priced and very efficient. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming and obviously take pride in this campground. We would be happy to stay again if we are ever in the area again! Highly recommend!
We were so impressed with how much there was to do at this campground! There are so many trails, playgrounds, and bike/walk friendly roads. Our family of 6 stayed for 3 nights and had a lovely time. The sites were a bit cramped (our rig is 31') and parking our truck was a bit tricky. The store was convenient ands the staff were helpful and very friendly. Would definitely stay again-- it was absolutely beautiful!
Our family spent 10 nights at this campground and were so impressed! The site was spacious and clean. Plenty of room for our 30' travel trailer and F550. We rode our bikes all over the place and enjoyed the playground and lake. There was even a rope swing at the creek that the we spent a TON of time playing at. Please be aware there is very little cell phone service and the internet was down while we were there. The bathrooms were very clean. The showers were OK. The staff were friendly and helpful and their store had everything we needed during our stay. The grounds were beautiful and very well kept. Would happily stay again and highly recommend.
Our family recently spent a week at this campground. We thoroughly enjoyed walking the grounds and my kids especially appreciated the playgrounds and club house. There are restaurants within walking distance, which is super convenient. Laundry facility and showers were clean and easy to use. Would stay again!
Our family was really pleased with this campground. The sites are paved and extremely well maintained with mowed lawns. The trail systems are super convenient. Would definitely stay again!
We spent a few days at this campground and I was especially impressed with how clean the bathrooms and showers were. There were trails that we enjoyed off the loop we were on. It was super quiet and yet very close to town in case we needed anything. My kids enjoyed the playground!
The sites are huge with hiking, offroad, and mountain bike trails easily accessible from the campsite. It's quiet and pristine. We just happened upon this campground and were so fortunate a first come first serve site was available. Highly recommend!
Management was vindictive and disorganized. They pulled multiple unauthorized charges from our account claiming we exceeded the 5 mph speeding limit. When we asked for documentation or a receipt they became extremely confrontational, yelling and accusations.
Our site was poorly maintained. We voiced concerns about some tree branches hanging over our site with branches that had clearly broken off. The water was leaking terribly and we immediately shut it off and notified them. They did not address either issues nor offer another site.
It took me 3 weeks, multiple phone calls, physical visits to book this campground. That is how disorganized management was, even their pricing was unclear.
Avoid this park!
