We stayed in a cabin, they were decently equipped kitchen wise, but be sure to bring your own dish soap, paper towels, etc. The back porches are screened in, and as close to simplistic as you will get staying in a cabin. You can fish around the lake, but I feel it would be better to have a boat to get to the better areas for fishing. Overall, a nice quiet retreat.
This is a secluded campground, has tent/RV camping with water and electric. It has bathrooms with showers and swimming area in the lake, one side shallow and sandy for smaller swimmers, one side deeper. It has pavilions and tables, and great hiking trails around the lake and longer trails through the woods.
There is mini golf(18 holes), canoeing, kayaking, petal boat rental, "mining for gemstones", fishing, a giant slide, 3 pools and a hot tub. The store on site gives easy access to any items you may have forgotten. Live music happens on special weekends, as well as holiday related activities for kids. Yogi also raises the flag on Saturdays and all the kids can go on a "Hey ride" with Yogi after. There are places to play volleyball, basketball, and horseshoes. Also a play place for kids with sand pit.
