We absolutely enjoyed staying at this RV park. As several reviewer’s; mentioned it’s a great location to explore the area of Bodega Bay surroundings. I would highly recommend hiking the Jenner Headlands Trail, Pomo Canyon Trail and for a less strenuous hike, the Kortum Trail from Shell Beach. In addition to the other comments, we found the bird population to be extraordinaire. Due to C19 the campground is currently closed, once it opens you, are required to reserve a space online. We will definitely stay here again.
This park is beautiful. Its situated on Lake Sacajawea and great if you have a boat or water toys. There are bathrooms and showers available and both are very clean. The host was very welcoming and assisted us in getting a single site for the entire time we were there, all five days. There were spiders everywhere and they decided to join us in the RV, not too fun. Due to the abundant spiders we probably would not return, plus we didn’t have water toys. We used our America the Beautiful pass and paid $15 for full hookups.
The surrounding area is so tranquil. You can hear the river in the background and the water is very refreshing but not too cold. Campsites are spaced >20 yards apart and level. Most sites area large enough for a 25’ RV. Lots of families that live within a 100 miles of the campsite vacation here. We stayed 4 nights and will definitely visit again when we are in the area.
