private and woodsy

highly recommend camping in the park! we arrived pretty late at night and had to assemble the tent in the dark, but it was private and quiet, a plus. we were close to the bathrooms, which were clean. and we woke up early to catch the sunrise, would do again!

close to the water, great campsite

it was a great experience staying here! there were restrooms nearby, as well as a large bathroom/shower/laundry facility attached to the campground store. the lake was super close, with access right across the road from the campsite. there were picnic tables and a fire pit for some s’mores roasting. 10/10 recommend. disclaimer: it is within the the glen canyon national recreation area, so you will have to pay an entrance fee (unless you have the national parks pass)

very cool, downtown camping spot

stayed here for two nights, and it was very nice! disclaimer: I was recovering from altitude sickness while staying here the first night, and slept for 12 straight hours, but when I woke up it was a really nice campsite! the staff work hard to keep it clean and green for us. and while there were many other campers and we were in downtown Moab, it was very quiet and peaceful. they had picnic tables and clean bathrooms/showers. would recommend!

amazing campground, middle of nowhere

I really loved the facilities here! the bathroom and showers were so clean and the campsites were very nice and semi private from the other campers! and a fire ring to roast those s’mores!! However, we came in the back way from Zion, which was through unmarked roads, no service, and in the middle of nowhere. Once we were in the park, we felt better, but still no service so just prepare yourself for that. Maybe text your loved ones that you made it before reaching the actual park (but the rangers were nice and let us use their landline).

amazing views!! 10/10

this place was so awesome! it was our first stop on a road trip, and I couldn’t have picked a better campground! the park rangers were friendly, there was a camp host to help us out, the bathrooms were clean and showers warm, and the scenery was just amazing. 10/10, wIll return :-)
