The sites are lovely mostly rocky earth sites. Big sites with lots of tree coverage. Pit toilets could be cleaner. They also had nice showers and a playground for the kids.
Beautiful camp sites. They are mostly gravel so pack a nice sleeping pad or blow up mattress. The pit toilets were very clean and the water spouts were plentiful. Many of the sites have natural rock formations as natural boundaries of the site. Many tent camp sites have raised platforms to pitch your tent. There is a small trail around the lake that was lovely in the evenings. The lake is very quiet and great for fishing or kayaking.
The tent non-electric campsites are fantastic. We had a nice private campsite that was completely wooded all around it. The campsite had a fire pit and picnic table that were both in great condition. The restroom and showers were very well maintained. They also offer a shuttle to the beach.
