Dirt road access off of the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway just past Sulpher Creek campground. Got pretty cold at night and there was a number of other tents and RVs taking up most of the spots – we got there around 6:30 on a Friday evening and were one of the last ones to get a spot. There's plenty of dispersed sites along that highway though. Camped in the meadow and watched a mom and baby moose grazing while we set up camp.

Couldn't have been happier with the campground itself, but the road to get there was so rough that we were afraid we were going to pop a tire getting there, so we ended up cutting our stay short and finding a campground with easier road access. If you have a Jeep or 4WD vehicle, it would probably be a more comfortable drive.

Peaceful lakeside spot – stayed here for one night while passing through the area. Loved the sunrise over the lake and the privacy of the sites. Quiet place to camp, even though there were a lot of groups there when we arrived, we had no trouble finding a spot. Pit toilet on-site and walking trails around the lake are close by.

I can't wait to come back here one day – stayed here one night while passing through the Sawtooth area. The sunset over the lake was spectacular – the water was so clear and peaceful, I could have sat there all night. The campground was clean and had good facilities – flushing toilets, table and fire ring at our site, and firewood available for purchase.

This place is beautiful but oh my god you couldn't pay me to stay here again. I stayed here two nights in June. There are a ton of sites, all with privacy, plenty of room, and killer panoramas, but they were almost all filled with caravans of large RVs with several 4-wheelers apiece. They waited until after dark, and then all you could hear from 8 pm until 6 am was groups of 4-wheelers revving and riding up and down the campgrounds all. night. long. I swear I didn't sleep at all the two nights we were there. One of the nights it even rained, and we still heard those 4-wheelers tearing up and down the roads all night – it was maddening. It's free but take my word for it… NOT WORTH IT.

If you don't mind foregoing a restroom – don't hesitate to choose this as your camp site for your Moab-area adventures! This will seriously be my go-to any time I'm in the area. There are an insane number of designated dispersed spots along this road (don't cross the creek bed unless you have 4WD) and all of them have killer views, tons of room and plenty of privacy. The sunsets are killer, and we saw lots of birds, bats, lizards, and a jackrabbit. We even saw hot air balloons each morning floating across the desert. Plus, it's free and less than 10 minutes from the entrance to Arches. Couldn't ask for more!

We got really lucky and were able to book a tent site day-of in the National Park… There are a ton of campsites here, plenty for RVs and tents alike. The site we got was a walk-in (there were 4-6 of these available). The walk-in sites have assigned parking spots and you have to walk a very short distance to get to your spot. All of them had a table and flat spot to pitch your tent, and the spots were far enough apart that you still felt like you had privacy. The bathrooms were super clean (I didn't see any showers). It was such a beautiful place to camp – the sunset over the cliffs above us was spectacular, and there was a group of deer that wandered through the sites during the evening. I would absolutely stay here again!

We stopped here while passing through Provo, and this was such a convenient and peaceful spot to sleep in the city. You're super close to amenities and anything you could want to see in town, as well as Utah Lake. It's reasonably priced and the facilities are really nice – clean bathrooms and shower stalls, clean and well-maintained sites and fire rings. I would stay here again! They book up a little far in advance during the summer though so plan ahead.
