We stayed at a primitive site for a couple nights. We enjoyed the seclusion and all the nature surrounding us.
We spent 2 nights in Blackwoods while vacationing throughout New England. Our site was mostly private and clean.
Stayed at Bridge Bay for a few nights while visiting Yellowstone. Woke up to bison footprints everywhere and a few of them relaxing in the campground.
We stayed at Hidden Valley while passing through on our drive to Yellowstone. The grounds are well maintained and the facilities are very clean. This seems to be a hotspot for ATV enthusiasts and visitors to Sturgis.
This is a small campground next to Crooked Creek Lake. The lake is manmade and maintained by the Army Corps of Engineers. There is a small beach and picnic tables. The lake is great for kayaking or small boats. We fish and kayak the creek opposite the lake.
