We had the best time here! The lake with all the blow up toys was a blast! The section we were in only had a volt potty but there were showers there in another section. Every site has a picnic table and fire ring. We rented a boat and went out on the lake to do some fishing. We didn’t catch anything but we did see some bald eagles which was super cool!
The campground was pretty basic with only hookups, no table or fire ring. No playground or amenities. But the cool thing was the history you could see and explore on the base. They had tanks and helicopters that you could climb in and touch. Our daughter loved it!
We stayed here for a few nights and it wasn’t a bad park, but not well kept either. It is a very large park and the space between spots wasn’t bad. Cell service here wasn’t good either. The pool was too cold to enjoy unfortunately.
Marina RV park was ok, more a parking lot with hookups. There was a pool as well, it sure it was open though. It was pretty clean and comfortable, just no picnic table or even space outside to hangout.
The rv park was clean and well taken care of. We had full hookups and a picnic table. There is also a small playground on the property.
We stayed for a few days while we explored a couple of the national parks. The campground was so pretty with the most beautiful views of the lake. We fished a lot but didn’t catch anything.
The campground was very basic with just hookups but the view and beach were beautiful! As a bonus we saw a baby sealion on the beach one morning!
I loved this campground but wasn’t a fan of the extra fees. The charge $10 per person per day to fish in their Lake. And you can’t swim or let the kids play in the lake because it’s a reservoir. On the flip side they have a super nice splash pad park that’s no additional cost! There are lots of walking trails. We happened to be there during the poppy super bloom and the butterfly migration so that was also really cool!
We loved our stay here! We were front row for a week. They have done a great job keeping the beach clean and the put out chairs with shade. The beach is really wide so it’s great for flying kites!
My biggest complaint with this resort is the geese, which apparently are always there, are loud and their poop is everywhere. The sites are also really packed in. What I did like is the pool, it was clean and plenty of room.
Super convenient park for exploring Palm Springs. There is a pool, laundry facilities, family lodge, and a camp store. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because the sites are super super close together. We were there the weekend before Easter and they did an Easter Egg hunt so that was super fun :)
We stayed here for 4 nights and it was a lot of fun! We were a large group so we made a circle of us so the young kids could play inside the group. We had an awesome time riding the hills! If you are unfamiliar with Ocotillo Wells it is total boon-docking.
Great location, very close the park. The river was beautiful. We weren’t lucky enough to catch anything but our neighbors caught three trout. We happened to be there for Cinco De Mayo and they had a cute party with a food truck (it was yummy) and a piñata for the kids. We had a great week here and Yosemite is epic!!!
We stayed a week and absolutely loved it! Great hiking to waterfalls, beautiful campgrounds and a large playground. Some sites have shared fresh water hookup between the sites.
We stayed here almost a week this month. It was clean with a large playground in the center. The showers were also very clean. In the back of the park is Lake Ontario with a cool view of Toronto City. We very much enjoyed our stay here!
The grounds were beautiful! nice clean restrooms and showers, a few playgrounds, and nice trails. Only downside for us was bad phone signal and everything seemed far away, like Walmart was an hour away!
No hookups, no showers and no playgrounds in campgrounds. But it was very clean and well managed. Acadia was stunning! so much to do and see, we could easily spend a week here!
Small camp ground, close to Boston, only 25 miles out. Kinda cool watching the airplanes take off and land with the small airport next door. No playground but a few open grassy fields.
nice and clean and lots of trails. we were warned to be cautious about leaving food out as there have been some bear sightings. Not much of a playground. All in all a pretty Park.
The lake is so clean and refreshing and we have such beautiful views from our camp site. We went down to the swim beach and our kiddo made sand castles and swam in the clear water. We can’t wait to come back soon!
