We stayed here for 3 nights at a back in with w/e. We enjoyed sitting around the campfire at night and walking the dogs down to the water. We were right next to a hiking trail that went down to the water and a beach area. We were working in Arlington/DC only a 25 min drive away and it was nice to come home to some nature.

This campground could def use some TLC, but the ladies at the front are super sweet. We stayed 4 nights in a back in with full hook ups. There had been tons of rain. The camper was on a paved pad, but the surrounding areas were very muddy. It close to the interstate and very quiet.

We stayed 2 nights in a PT. The first site they had us in was a back in right behind the office, but the ground was so uneven (sloped up) we bottomed out and still couldn't reach our utilities. We upgraded to a pull through in the back of the park. Everything was just run down, and the playground was all broken… luckily we don't have human children. The fire rings have been moved around and there are several burn spots across the campsites. We had fun in the Dells, but will try to find somewhere else to stay next time. Don't miss the tiki fire logs for sale in the gift shop; they are AWESOME!

We stayed 3 nights in a PT FHU for $177. The sites are dusty red dirt (but that's the natural landscape of the area) and a little close together. The staff is very friendly and they have a small store on site. There's a picnic table, but it was very hot outside without shade. There's a great creek within walking distance that you can cool off in and let the dogs run around. The proximity to Teddy Roosevelt NP is the winner to stay!

We stayed overnight in a W/E PT for $48. The campground has lots of trees and there's a nice size dog run. Only a few minutes drive from Badlands NP entrance.

This is one of my favorite state parks… ever! We stayed 3 nights ($87) for an electric back in site. The site was a concrete pad with a fire pit, picnic table and a little bit of grass that my dog enjoyed. The bathrooms were clean and the campground was nice to walk around. From there, we went to Wind Cave, Jewel Cave, Hot Springs, Mount Rushmore, Sylvan Lake (must see) and took in a play at the Black Hills Playhouse. There's a gift shop, small restaurant, and firewood across the street.

We stayed overnight in a PT W/E site for $38. The whole park is gravel, with some muddy potholes. They have several horse camping sites too and a few guests were using the stables. It's a short and safe walk into downtown Deadwood, if you'd like to do some drinking and walk home… which is exactly what we did.

Normally I stay away from the pool at campgrounds, bc they are overrun with kids and look pretty dingy. However, this one is like hotel quality and the hot tub is clean. The gym is pretty awesome too! I'm not big on amenities, bc they are always lackluster… but when done right, wow! We were at a PT FHU right up front by the gate with a little plot of grass and nice metal picnic table. There was a little confusion about the site, but the staff was great. We will 100% stay here again.

We stayed 3 nights in W/E Back In, Site 141, mostly hard packed sand surrounded by trees. The angle is a little weird to back into, but the site itself is nice and feels private. The fire ring and picnic table (old and wood) is at the very back of the site. A pretty nasty storm rolled through one night and the trees actually provided a little protection.

I don't know why you would consider staying anywhere else… you can walk to tons of stuff and it's only a 5 min drive/uber to downtown. We had a PT FHU on gravel, site 30, at the very front of the park. The park itself has lovely trees throughout and it's nice to walk around and talk to fellow campers that have been there longer. There are no picnic tables, fire rings or wifi… but when in a city like Austin, go out and do things. We are def going to come back!

We stayed 4 nights in site 24, PT FHU on a level concrete pad with a picnic table and plot of grass. $40/ni after Good Sam. The park is split into two sections; the side we are in is next to an airfield and the other side is by a small dog run (next time, I'll request this section bc I'm traveling with my dogs). They have a store and the laundry is clean and well priced ($1.25/wash, $0.25/12 min dry). The wifi is strong and the park is quiet. There are some long term, possibly permanent, tenants, but their sites are well kept.

I stopped here for the night when traveling solo. The hosts are very sweet and the campground is tucked away, but very close, to the interstate. I had a pt fhu, even though I only I didn't even hook up I was so tired. There's a storm shelter on site too for those notorious Oklahoma storms. I would def stay here again!

Stayed at a FHU PT for the night, on my way to the Petrified Forest. The sites are gravel, but not well maintained compared to other campgrounds that are all gravel. There was a lot of machinery and work equipment laying around. The staff was very friendly and the shop was very well stocked. A little overpriced imo.

I requested a site all the way at the back of the koa, and the staff kindly were able to accommodate me. I had a FHU PT. The park is mostly all gravel. The free bfast is cereal, toast and hot coffee.

We stayed for 4 nights in June in a pull thru FHU. The mosquitos were pretty vicious… a couple of the regulars said it was the worst they'd been in years. We biked around the campground during the days and took advantage of the adult only hot tub hours at night. It was a nice getaway from Chicago.

I stayed 5 nights here, back in with FHU. The staff was very friendly and the proximity to downtown is great! I was all the way at the front near the bathroom/office, but also near the street. A lot of foot traffic throughout the night being in an urban setting. Next time, I'll request to be a little further back into the park itself.

I booked a pull thru for the night when traveling solo. Pretty sunset, friendly host and lots of sites. Close to interstate and safe. I would def stay again.

I stayed for a week in a pull-thru with full hookups. The park is all concrete and gated, which I appreciated in an urban setting. There's a grocery store across the street and only a 5 min drive to downtown Tucson.

We stayed for a week late October and loved it! We had a pull thru and full hookups. We hiked with our dogs and went into downtown Asheville almost every day.

We just stopped for an overnight. Had a pull thru with full hookups. You def can't miss it from the road… it's got a lot of neon and a ton of sites. Would stay again if passing through for sure!
