We had gotten tired of the heat and masses of people in south Florida. We ended up being the only campers on the West side (east is currently closed) for Christmas morning. The birds were amazing, the toilets were clean and the trails were a blast in the Jeep! It is sad how unkempt the grounds are. I am hoping that is just since Covid. It's a great set up for large groups with toys.

Stayed 14 days and loved the quiet, beauty and birds. The pit toilet seems new and there is firewood everywhere. What else do you need? Oh, the showers on the West side are clean and hot!

We have our tent set up under huge trees, next to the beach and it is gorgeous! This is tent camping at it's best. Bathrooms were well stocked and mostly clean. The other campers were quiet and respectful. We loved it. The showers are outdoors and not heated. But we swam with turtles and snorkeling was good!
