A nice campground in a beautiful area. Currently, McCollum has 25 campsites, but a new section is under construction. The sites are relatively level for such a hilly area, but we did need to do a little extra positioning of our camper. Site 22 is a pull through site and feels extra large compared to others. No water at this site but is does have 30 and 15 amp service.
There is a small camp store with the basics and a larger outpost just down the road where many of the trail heads are located. There is a bit of a Wi-Fi signal but is only accessible when you're at the camp store.
Fantastic hiking in the area! Lots of interesting scenery and rock formations to explore.
Bath house was clean and the water was hot.
Definitely recommend staying here.
Our first timing camping at Tobyhanna and it won't be our last.
Mix of electric and non-electric sites. No water hook ups but a water station is on site.
Camp sites are generously size, good spacing between sites and heavily treed. Huge lake to enjoy. We rode our mountain bikes around the 5 mile trail around the lake. Just awesome.
Our first time in Vermont and we picked an awesome campground. This place has a great layout with lots of great sites to choose from.
There are several sites right on the river!
Clean bath houses. A big playground for kids. Even free WiFi if that is desired.
We will definitely be back!
Great all-around campground. Level sites with plenty of trees. Clean bath houses. Tons of biking and hike trails. A “beach” swim area that is like a resort. A golf course. A great option for families.
A really beautiful area to visit. A very cool brewery is just 4 miles away.
Our first time in the Moshannan National Forrest area. Simply stunning. Beautiful area.
The campground was adequate. Bath houses were relatively clean.
My biggest criticism is how close the sites are to each other. This may only be true of the full hookup sites. Felt like we were camping with our neighbors.
Our second time staying here. Spacious campsites in the D loop with half-circle drive in. Clean bath houses and facilities.
Decent walking trails around the lake. Lots of water activities in you're into that.
Camp store has the basics plus a few extras. Firewood for sale at reasonable price.
Really enjoyed our 3 nights of camping at Letchworth. The camp sites are large and spread out. Bath houses are modern and clean. Electric hookups at each site and water spigots spread through out.
We camped in the 700 loop with allows pets.
The camp store was great and even had a separate mini farmer's market with fresh veggies and fresh baked goods.
Lots of good hiking and some great vistas.
We really enjoyed the campground. Sites are spread out. Lots of trees. Toilets were very clean. Particularly recommend site 16. Perfect view of Mt Timpanogos
We’ll kept campground with all the amenities. The camp store is centrally located and has a nice selection. Bath houses are clean and have mini split ac and heat.
Love of great trails to walk or bike.
My only complaint is that the sites are packed in fairly tight.
Trap Pond is well rounded. Has distinct areas for tents, car camping and trailers, as well as RVs. Signs are clear and easy to find your way around. The picnic tables at each site are brand new. Also, obvious signs of land management and planting of new, diverse trees.
