Unfortunately unsafe

We parked under a light along with 6 other campers. We were woken up at 4 AM by someone shaking the bikes on our rack because they had cut all our locks and couldn’t figure out how to get them off. When we got home we saw they also took off the front wheel. We called the manager, he seamed very concerned and was going to look at security cameras.

Eco Center

Nice educational center with canoe and kayak rentals, with lots of Mississippi backwater to explore. Showers are open until October 14 this year.

Feet from the Mississippi

The park is on the beautiful might Mississippi river. It’s 2 miles from Potosi, WI with a large brewery with good food as well. Army Corps so half price with America The Beautiful senior discount card. If you like trains you will see many, close and going fast.

Great town.

We walked into town for a donut and didn’t make it back to the site until 3 o’clock. Lots to see and places to shop. Everyone very friendly. Lots of art. The campground is very crowded. But right on the Lake. No matter where you are it is just a few steps to a beautiful view.

Nice small park

Small quite county park with electricity at most sites. First come sites. On Labor Day weekend only 5 campers there out of 21 sites. We found one with mostly shade. There is a first class 21 hole frisbee golf course at this park. Close to 52 mile Cedar Valley Nature bike trail. On the Cedar River. Boats were going in and out, I would guess you could Kayak there. One half mile on gravel to the park. No cell service.

Parking Lot with services .

This is a huge parking lot for the State Fair. Very nice staff. Nice facilities were average and clean. We didn’t know it, but our site was 15 amp. On the same pole were two 30 amps. So we just use that because no one was there. 1.7 miles on bike path to Brewer Baseball field. It was raining to we used Uber to the game and walked back for an afternoon game.
