Snug

Snug if you have slide outs, must watch to see you don't hit neighbor's trailer as you extend. Awnings literally touch neighbors. Crazy good time, if that's what you're into. I like the cabins!

Family Tradition

We love to return here every year!

Recently updated two-way fresh-fill/santiary dump station. There is Ice Cube Consessions and the skating rink from Memorial Day through Labor Day every year. Great long-term hosts really make this park feel like going home.

Spacious!

Our site was spacious! It's beautiful here, but I would not recommend pulling an RV to this camp. There's quite the road leading up to and back down from it. Not for the faint of heart. Sure wish there was a warning when I booked, and pulled my 60' of large machinery up that road. I'm not the same, will perhaps never drive a cliffside again. It's too bad. I used to like that sort of thing.

THIS IS THE PLACE!

DEFINITELY recommend this resort! It's the perfect place to pull your RV, especially if teetering it along the edge of a really gnarly cliff isn't your cup of tea. There's a pool, and hot tub, mini golf, a little store, and PONIES next door! Definitely recommend trail rides.

Beautiful hiking!

This is a lovely and expanding park. Spacious, level pull through sites with full hookups. Decent Verizon coverage. Shower houses could use updates.

Pretty place

Nice camp, decent sites, GREAT buddy sites! Cell service is null, and no wifi. We do love the hiking over here!

GREAT lake!

I like beach camp, but I LOVE north equestrian camp. Wish the boxes accomodated my rig. It's easy in spring or fall, we can get by with 30 amps. If you need 50 amps, you're going to want to head to the Beach Camp.

Stunning!

Absolutely gorgeous place to live for a few days! We did daycamp on our site, but chose to leave our RV in town with services. It was fun to camp on the ground under the full moon though! Absolutely breathtaking skywatching experience. I hope the children always remember fondly - traveling in the heat of July gave the odds a 50/50 though… No electric, so bring solar or a generator.

Wonderful experience

Best base camp for any trip to the Dells.

On-site laundry, pools, golf carts, boats, and that floating obstacle course… There are so many more ameneties available that we didn't have time to experience them all. All our needs were met, and our stay was plesant. The staff here was just so so very kind and accomodating… We definitely plan a return to Holiday Shores.

Just stunning

This campground was large. The lake reminded me of a puzzle I did with my grandma as a kid. It was fall, and it was just gorgeous. There was a wedding the weekend we were there, but we were lucky to explore the tower the day prior. The nearby communities offer ameneties, which were needed as I sprained a knee hiking the backbone trail my third go. Absolutely adored the weekend we spent here. Wonderful neighbors, great spacious, level sites. I want to say we had electric only, and service was definitely spotty in most areas of camp. We used Verizon, and could not hulu.

Beautiful views!

Easy level sites, and helpful neighbors. Hiking was phenomenal at Pikes Peak! We will never forget those views! Loved this stop over!

Getting away from it ALL!

Chatting with others around camp, there is no cell service provider that functions in this park. The WIFI is shared between dozens of sites, and the absolute BEST speed I have ever seen here is a 14, and I only saw that once. WIFI tends to average right around 5mps. That's right, 5. There is no remote working out here, if your work requires any semblance of quality, which is really too bad; the rest of everything out here is WONDERFUL! Great neighbors, wildlife, the trail, fishing, boating, the playground… everything else is wonderful. I know we can do better for WIFIs. Fees were just increased again this year, surely we can afford a bit better than this!

Love Dolliver

One of my favorite hiking spots! Camping here is comfortable enough. Sites can be a little squat in the middle loops, and no fhu. Antenna coverage is fine for catching your evening weather report, but cell service cuts out as you drive down into the park, and does not resume until you come back up and out. There's no wifi, and I'm not sure how satellite service would fare down here. Our Dish barely kept up with the antenna, so I'm guessing satellite's a meh. If you have anything you'd like to listen to or watch, download it before going in. But, honestly, the hiking is so good, it'd be silly to worry about much of anything down here. I rarely do.

It's okay

Great vibes. Camp's pretty far from the bones of the park, but the hike's relatively plesant. Cell coverage is terrible out here, and there is no WIFI to help keep people connected.

No Service

Great sites, phenomenol hosts. LOVE the playground, and the culture; this is home during the summer months. Terrible WIFI, absolutely no cell coverage out here. Not sure how they justify raising camping rates here if the ameneties do not reflect modern needs for family enjoyment. Yes we like smores, and watching the birds, and fishing, and hiking; but so help me, we like our Netflix too, and I sure would like to be able to watch the weather report. Even Dish coverage is spotty out here. It's weird, we're not down in a valley or anything. Not sure why this is such a dead zone out here.
