I love this place. If you are into ancient Indian mounds and seeing the artifacts they have collected this is a place you want to visit.

Small well appointed museum to see. Information panels at the important mounds. Since we visited last year some improvements have been made to the camp sites. Level sites. 4 pull through with full hook ups for bigger rigs. This is a small campground, all sites have water and electricity with dump site as you leave camping area. Also much needed improvements to bath house.

Nice place

10/4/2020

Pros: Very neat and grass cut. Sites are reasonably spaced. Staff very nice.

Cons: Restrooms could have been cleaner and up dated

Back to humidity and the South

Stayed 10/3/2020 Pros: Nice state park. Had electrical hookup issues about 9pm. Site host was very helpful and helped us move to another site.

Cons: Some sites are close to one another and some have a lot of space. S Most sites are not level and front end of back in sites your wheels will be off ground.

Will return to this park

Stayed 10/2/2020 Pros: Excellent place, great reception for TV and phone. All aspect of upkeep maintained.

Cons: None noted

Stay 9/26-30/2020 in

Pros: Great location for use. Central to the sites we were interested in. Easy access and parking. Owners very helpful and accommodating of our needs. Owners live on property. The cabin we got for our Dgt was small but clean.

Cons: Road and sites need some work. Our site was not level. Weak WiFi provided. No cell service in park.

Will return to this park.

Pros: beautiful lake and Mountain View’s. If u are a birder I saw 3 life birds in one afternoon. Good walking trail around park.

Cons: very close and mostly small sites. Have a few larger sites. We checked in about 4 pm and there was no one at check in and no instructions what to do. Black top roads a gravel at sites need some maintenance. We were in site 16 and it was not level had issues with auto leveling .

Wonderful state park

9/25/2020 Pros: this could be a long list but I will give the top pros. Very easy to find, very easy to check in and easy to access sites, back in or pull through. The entire park is very well kept. Sites a spaced apart no crowding. Beautiful cottonwood trees turning colors. Big rigs this is the place for you.

Cons: Have not found any yet.

Very nice for a state park 9/20/20

Pros: easy access from state hwy. Restrooms were very clean. This park has made pull through sites for big rigs. The lake and fishing area are great. Very quite and no artificial lights, heat place to star gaze. Love the little circles the water/electricity sites are located. Large site next side acceptable distance away. Every site has a covered shelter.

Cons: some of the sites need added gravel or black top.

I will be coming back and staying, great state park.

Pros clean restrooms and open space. Great for families with younger children. All set up for Halloween

Cons: no trees, sites are very close together.

Nice place and people.

Pros- Every thing great, clean restrooms. This is my second visit and I will return. Great little street taco stand in walking distance great breakfast tacos. Cons- check in staff was not wearing mask. Some of the gravel and black top roads need resurfacing.
