Cool free spot

It’s nice and open, many campsites to choose from. There’s pit toilets, the main one is pretty dirty though. Overall it’s a really nice place not far from town either.

Nice showers/bathrooms

Good overnight place for tent camping. The showers were the main reason we booked for the night. They were clean, a little small but good water pressure. The hosts were nice and helpful. The highway was loud, but something you could get used to. The sheep also made a lot of noise but that was more cute than annoying. Overall it was a good stay and served our purposes.

Would stay again

We got a nice spot next to the river. It was really relaxing. There’s two pit toilets and 1 water pump near the entrance. It’s first come first serve. The gates are supposed to close at night, not sure if they do though. There’s an entrance and an exit. The exit has one way spikes across it so if you do happen to get locked out you won’t be driving back to your campsite.

Good stop for passing through

Good place to stop for the night. First come first serve, for the most part. If you can’t find a spot here there are several other places along the highway, but this is definitely the nicest.

Beautiful

There were a lot of day use areas and tent sites. It was very beautiful and open. We went in the off season so we had a lot of space to ourselves.

Really cool, would stay again

We stayed at one of the few tent sites. It was a shaded spot under some pine trees, and that came with the occasional tick. No big deal though. There are two “club houses”. We spent some time in the smaller one by the pool. There was a shelf for you to take a book leave a book. The other shelves where filled with hundreds of dvds to choose from to play on the tv. There was also a stove, sink, and fridge. Which was very nice since we had a tent. The bathrooms were very clean and the showers were free. The aesthetic of the camp was amazing and rustic. There’s a coin laundry room outside the bathrooms, which was also really nice but we didn’t end up using. We only stayed a night, but will definitely be back.
