Great state park and campground. Nice trails. Great shower house.
Level sites with full hookups. 30,50 amp, water, sewer on every site. Owners are really nice, and keep everything well maintained. Nice small catch and release pond. Has 2 club houses with large grills and 3 cabins also. Had a very nice quiet relaxing weekend.
Great weekend, crazy storms at night and gorgeous water during the day. Sites are large and mowed.
Several spots near the river most are basic sites. They have three loops each with there own shower houses. Loop one is out away frin the river tucked in a narrow cannon really cool fealing. Loop two and three are on the river. Loop two has electric and lots of trees. Loop three has unreserved with trees, and resevered basic more in the open and not as crowded.
Was only here for a night hammock camping reviewing some products. The park had just had sever storms and several sites closed from downed trees. Shower house is in middle of campground so if you are in outer loop you have drive around and into the middle and then drive back around. Several spots that were nice some with direct water acces and others tucked into the hill.
Camp ground is great. There are 2 shower houses, 1 new one torwards the front and one in the farthest loop. There is a small lake great for kayaking and fishing boats. The swim beach has been closed because of excesive vegetation growth. The trail wraps the lake and connects to the edge of the campground. There is a couple historic sites not far on the side of the lake, quick little drive.
There are several loops here. If you want piece and quiet and lake access the basic sites are great. Otherwise the electric and quieter in middle week. Not open in off season which is to bad.
Showed up and went to our site it was a tent only spot even though it said 20ft double pad.
Great state park and campground.
Shower house is nice. Campsites are good, just not close to the lake. You can take a trail from camground 2 down to indian petroglyphs and the swim beach.
It was nice, they have 3 camprounds. 1 is basic, they have plenty of room for tents and camping and large space between each camp site. They have walk in camp sites also. Campground 3 is the electrics and made for the campers.
Nice lake, campground was good, there are basic sites up against the lake and the rest are electric. Basic sites are large and some of the electric are also. The majority are pull through sites. Everything is fairly level and they have nice park, picnic areas and boat ramp. You can kayak, canoe, jet ski, and boat. Its olny 30ft at the deepest point.

Great campground. The site was nice and large, lots of kids to play, but quite. Nice hiking trails. The lake is really a large pond, you can kayak, canoe, fish and swim if you dont mind a pond.
Always love going here. We get sites right on the water. You can bike ride, hike boat, canoeing, kayaking, swimming all from the campground areas. There is also a really nice public beach just down the road called Moonshine beach its a few dollars a car.
Was perfect, there are several campgrounds to choose from. We picked one that over looked the lake and we could walk to from the campsite. The campground has its own beach and its own boat launch that are only for campground guests. There is also a public beach and boat launch in the park that is separate. We had the whole beach to ourselves for awhile, the most we seen was probably 5 or 6 families at the beach at once.
They have a great lake, and quite campground. The lake has a nice beach next to the marina. Marina store has icecream and other small items if you need something. We were there on what staff said was a busy weekend and to us the lake was empty there was so few boats and the beach not even half full. Campground was full and had no issues and great hosts. You can walk right down to lake from several sites.
Always have great fun and enjoy relaxing here. There is a trail to walk or bike ride. Small lake to canoe or kayak or fishing crom the shore line. Whole campground is nice and level. If you have kids you can see them anywhere in the campground especially when they are playing with other kids in the playground located on the middle.
Visit was great. Went trout fishing and canoeing down the river. Several campgrounds some are up step hills but level once on top.
Nice calm lake great for swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and small motored boats. There are several trails, picnic areas, and play areas for kids. Campground 2 is small and quite with clean shower/bathrooms. Camground 2 Site 58 is a joined drive with no tent space, however you get an isolated area, and has an uneven pad for camper. It has a large patio and picnic table. Campground 1 is much larger with several great sites.
