Small Navy RV and Tent Park overlooking Water

Nice, well separated sites.
Only 6 sites with Electric and Water. No Dump or Shower/restrooms. 2 clean porta poddies on site.
Dump station located at Newport RV Park 5 minutes up the road for $20 charge. NEX MiniMart close with NEX an Commissary located 5 miles at NAVSTA Newport.

Nice overnight stopping spot on an AL State Road in Cottondale, AL. Park has 93 mixed pull-thru and bac-in sites. 1-33 are on the office side of the road with 34 - 93 on the opposite side. Price is great at $33 a night.

Park has only 1 Bath/shower on the office side and no Bath house on the larger site side. FHU sites are more than acceptable.

Arrived late - communication from the office throughout the day ensured that everything was ready , and it was!

Really liked the place! Though tight it didn’t prevent putting the slides and awning out. Everything is supper clean around the sites Bathrooms/showers were pristine. I truly support the Park’s no contact policy. You enter and are directed to the check-in stop. On the bulletin board are your check-in envelopes will site map/site assignment. Also great WiFi and password. Sorry no pix because we left late.

Great private RV and Tent campsite park.

We were here with a group and were assigned in sites together. Each site was spacious with FHU on concrete pads. There is one central Store, Laundry, Bathroom/Showers and swimming pool. Bath/Showers were a little worn but still waiting for a fresh seasonal coat of paint. Super walking path between sites and Mississippi River. You can watch barges making their way on the river.

Top 10 spot for stay while in Memphis area.

Dusty (dry weather), with predominately gravel fairly level sites; some concrete pads.
Small trailer Laundry/bath/shower in western portion of sites. Big draw is the Mississippi River that borders the south portion of the park.

Gravel, gravel and more gravel! Good and reliable camp ground, as well!

Our site (B14) was not at all level. Used all my blocks to compensate for the forward and passenger site down slope. Other sites in B section had similar problems. Fortunate that we carry an adjustable step for coach entry. Showers and restrooms were good, but shower curtains need to be replaced. Great water. Works great !

Large KOA across the Mississippi River in Rock Island, Ill

Loads of sites with what appears to be FHU’s. On the upper short term sites, they are concrete pads and on the remainder of sites they are gravel. Short term sites are close packed with small patios between the rigs. As a KOA, this is well kept. Bathrooms and showers are quite acceptable. They have cabins as well that are in a separate area distant from the RV sites. There is a small putt-putt, a pool, child water area and swing and bounce attraction.

Enjoyed this campground immensl! Site overlooked the lake.

RV site had 30amp with FHU’s. Campground owner was helpful by leading us to our site and directing us into spot.

One large Lake Community with transient RV sites.

This campground is adjacent to a BNSF rail line. Though loud when trains pass, I didn’t lose any sleep. RV sites are back-in, back to back with 30/50amp FHU’s. Bathrooms, laundry, showers and RV sites are older but are acceptable for a couple nights stay. Resort has a 9 hole golf course, pool, Volleyball field, Putt Putt and Gazebo for gatherings.

The only RV Resort that you should stay at when in south Minneapolis !

This place has everything and it’s in great as new condition.
About 100 sites that’s big draw is the Mystic Lake tribal Casino. Sites are two pull-thru’s to each site. Your door is opposite of your site mate and you each have your own power pedestal w/water. Sites are 60+ feet, concrete and level. Each site has their own fire pit. Shower rooms and Laundry room require hotel card entry. Cards are $5 with $3 returned at check-out. The Casino operates a round trip Shuttle that picks you up and drops you at your site.

Swenson’s Valley View RV Park and Dealership

Oddly enough, this place is not bad at all for a short overnight visit or if just want to visit The Magic City for a few days.
We stayed 1 overnight.
There are a bunch of sites, but understand, the dealership does use many for parking their RV inventory. We did not have a reservation so I can’t say if we had had a reservation, how many sites would be offered. As our visit was on a Sunday, Labor Day weekend arrival, there were 3 back-in sites available in the short term area - all sites in the Park are $50/night with FHU and septic. The short term sites were 60’ and more. For us there were only 1 site with 30/50 amp and 2 with 30amp that were still available.
The bathroom and showers and the laundry room were absolutely spotlessly clean and roomy.

Sleeping Buffalo Hot Springs RV Park

We came into Saco, MT from the west. Turned from Hwy 2 to Hwy 243. SBH is on your right less than a mile from HWY 2. There are about 30 sites in the Park About 11 are back-in (40+ -80ft) and the rest are pull-thru’s of 48 - 90’. We were there 1 night over the Labor Day weekend - we had reservations - but all that was left was a 43’ pull thru. We had to disconnect our tow. The Hot spring pool house is cool to visit and swim in! There are showers in the pool area as well as a dedicated shower house in the camp ground. Both were clean but dated.
Sites are gravel and level.

Riverfront RV Park

One of our favorite Parks! So much history here and well maintained. Lots of trees and shade! Sharon and her Camp Hosts/ Maintenance staff do a wonderful job keeping this place clean and trimmed.
Terry and Mike meet you at your arrival and usher you to your site. We have a 40’ w/tow and opted for a pull thru for 1 night. Sharon stops by and takes your payment, and checks on if you need anything! Great to have met the matriarch of the Park! They offer Good Sam and Military rates as well!

Coulee Dam RV Park

Local area RV Park. 10 drive-thru sites are on the upper level. Lower levels seem to be more permanent sites. All upper sites have 30/50 amp, water and 2 septic dumps per site. Reservations were easy to make and they were flexible when we had to modify our 2 night stay to 1. We were here to see the Dam light show that we’ve missed during COVID. Dam Visitor Center close to Park. Wife preferred not to use park restroom.
Light gravel throughout and at all the sites. Perfectly level and all connections were as they should be. No shade trees in upper sites, $35/night.

Diamond Experience

Great sized campground within the Lebanon city limits. Directly on the river with hiking/biking paths. 20 full hookup sites with locked safe restrooms/coin showers. Camp host greets upon arrival and provides area maps and complimentary tokens for showers. This is one of our favorite RV parks.

WW1 Mortor Bunkers, Beach, Kayaks, plenty of Trails!

Great WA State Park located on Marrowstone Island in Port Hadlock WA.
47 dry camping and smaller trailer camp sites in Upper Camp area with 68 FHU sites in Lower Camp area on Port Townsend Bay.
With pre-Covid recreation sites for Kayaking, boating, scuba diving, paragliding and fishing - this was quite a unique Historical State Park. Reservations are handled through the WA State Parks reservation system. Day use Discovery Pass is required for access ($10 or $30 annually). Located adjacent to the US Naval Magazine on Indian Island.

Great spot on east side of Lake Entiat (Rocky Reach Dam Reservoir Lake)

With early reservations you can get several pull-thru sites overlooking the Lake and river gorge. 35 FHU sites in Upper Loop 2, 35 Partial sites (W/E) in Loop 3 and 27 Standard sites in Loop 1. Water swim and boat launches with great open area recreation and field area. Amphitheater. Good paved bike and jogging/walking trails throughout. Reservations are through www.parks.state.wa.us or by calling 888.226.7688.

Dosewallips State Park, Brinnon, WA - favorite on the Hood Canal

Plenty of FHU sites and loads of camping sites. There are 11 cabins and 3 Platform Tents - combined with RV and tent sites - all of which must be reserved online. Restrooms and Outhouses are numerous and dispersed throughout. Pay Showers ($.50 token) are in central Restrooms. Only 1 shower per Restroom. A new large central facility is under construction. Hiking trails and river access are accessible through the campground and Day Use area. RV sites are blacktop and level. Some sites have partial hookups w/o septic. Dump station is on site.

Corvallis, OR - great overnight spot

Sharing the Benton County Fairgrounds, the Benton Oaks RV Park is located at 110 NW 53rd St in Corvallis, OR. Information and reservations are made by calling 541.766.6521 (weekdays) or 541.207.8194 (after5pm and weekends). This is a nice, safe, homey RV Park with 28 back-in and pull-thru sites with FHU, 30 & 50 amp power. 11 additional overflow back-in sites with partial hookups are also available. Great Camp Hosts on duty that meet and guide you into your site. Newer, very clean and sanitized Showers, bathrooms and laundry with coded access controlled by the RV Park. We stayed only 1 night, but this is an acceptable stop for a longer stay.

Valley of the Rogue River - Excellent OR State Park

Great RV sites that are close to the River with FHU’s. Hiking paths border the river and connect the many camping loops. Stayed in loop B which has back-in’s and drive throughs. Knowledgeable Camp Hosts in all loops. Easy on/off access to I-5, 10 miles south of Grants Pass and 15 miles North of Medford. Oregon State Park website and contract call-in reservations.
