The shower was cold and lacked water pressure but besides that it’s a nice place, there was trash at my cite, run down older park but that’s just this area. Nice place to visit if ur passing through
Nice campsite, bunch of low traffic campsites on the east side of lake
Really fun on a dirt bike, u can drive around with a car if u want as well, some mellow spots allow non high clearance cars to get around
Death canyon trail head is the starting point for the hike. Permit is required. You can get one at the visitor center.
I made the mistake of biking down this road forgetting I had to go back up the hill, it’s a big hill, u don’t need much clearance on ur car but it’s kinda gnarly, don’t take a trailer/camper
This campsite is tucked away in a valley, humidity is usually low so u can beat the summer heat by staying in the shade. Very quite. Not many people visit this place.
There is a boat ramp, hiking trails, showers, and the ohv park is only 30 min away on the other side of the lake
Campground no longer exist, it’s over grown, it would be a good stealth campsite if u don’t mind trespassing
The view is good, I recommend setting up camp early if u want first dibs. Spots fill up quick.
