Hosts were very friendly and the location was peaceful. Sunsets were beautiful but we stayed during a very hot week and the lack of shade made it very difficult to stay cool.
Trees were very small and didn’t provide much shade. In about 5 years it may be a better place to camp.
Lake water was extremely filthy. Kids swam and had a good time in the cool water but the water was gross.
We’ve been here a couple of times with trailers and about 10 other families. Their groups sites are next to each other and allow big groups to stay together.
Staff is amazing! My only complain is campground is between river and road which makes it difficult if you have very young children.
Location is out about 7 miles out of town but has beach access which is great for families with kids.
It gets really windy from one moment to the next.
The water is absolutely beautiful! Can’t wait to come back again.
Don’t use address provided on their website. It’ll take you to Marina.
Fun REC for kids, playground, and party fire pit area. Individual spots were extremely tight. Employee had to help us park (even though we didn't feel like we needed it).
Campground was nice like all KOA we have visited but we didn’t feel safe leaving our kids roam free. Will be choosing a different location due to this.
Absolutely relaxing and plenty of trails for the whole family to explore
New name: Oregon Coast RV Resort
Great place for family vacation and long or short term stay. Close to beach and sand dunes.
Complaint: free cable advertised and it’s not available
You will never get bored. There is something to do for everyone in the family! Clean park and friendly staff.
Staff and grounds were amazing. Pool was perfect for kids. However, on a super hot week site A1 was not strong enough to get our AC running. We were so hot at night in our camper. 😕. Asked staff about it and they said they were aware and repairing it was going to be very costly but they really needed it.
