Beautiful State Park!!

We stayed at Carson Creek Road, Quail campground site 6. We got there on Tuesday night and it was very quiet and almost empty. The sites are decent. And there is some construction going on around the bathroom facilities. Down the road from quail loop were beautiful campsites right on the water. There was so much to do along the main road. Overall quail campsite was a nice spot to stay, but the real attraction is right in beavers bend state park.

Nice Family Campground

We went on a Monday, and it was quiet and peaceful. We checked in at the office, bought some ice and drove around to look at the scenery. Lots of deer, and squirrels. There are day use pavilions, a swimming beach, boat dock, and lots of trails. Our campsite was near Lake Dunn Trail head so we decided on that one. It was absolutely beautiful in the evening and in the morning. Signs warn to be prepared entering the trails, as it is a 33 mile trail system. The campsite was well kept, and clean. I did not have phone service at all, but I was able to pay for wifi. $8 for 24 hours.

Great Dispersed Camping

I really enjoy going to this campsite and camping by the river. You can pick any spot throughout the property, close to the restroom and facilities, or far. It's super laid back.

A Nice Spot, Perfect Distance From Town

We stayed here long term for work, in our camper trailer. This is a great place, for long or short stays. All sorts of rigs, maybe not quite the place for tents. The owner is very kind. The property is well maintained. Gravel pads, with all the hook ups. It's great not having to move to drain the tanks. There is a community area called the scale house, indoor and outdoor chill spots to enjoy the scenery. A small shower/laundry house, and overflow parking for boats, extra vehicles, etc. The creek runs along side the campground, and herds of sheep roam across the creek with friendly and protective sheep dogs. You can fish in the creek and in the pond located within the sheep field. We really enjoyed this spot.

Nice spot on the water!

We loved the view! Looked like a great place for kayaking/boats and fishing. There were water views on both sides of the campsites. More people than I expected to see on a Monday, but the campsites were a decent distance apart.

Great Family Place!

We stopped here for one night while passing through, and we loved it! Site 34 was nice and ducked off. The park has a lot to do; a lake with boat rentals, swimming in the summer, and beautiful trails! We loved it so much!
