Beware of booking reservations here. My family booked for 4th of July weekend. Due to having to have an emergency surgery 6/22 as result of a complication from breast cancer, we called to cancel the weekend. We were told they wouldn’t refund us our money. We asked if we could just push out our reservation for another time & was told no. My husband asked for the owner to call him back. No one called us back. We just received email stating that the cancellation policy would apply. Now listen, we were not looking to screw anyone over. I told my husband to take the kids without me since we were going to be charged for it anyway. When my husband emailed them not to cancel, we received a response that the owner re-rented our site & was now going to refund us & that they would never take a reservation from us because we couldn’t follow the camp ground rules. We will never recommend this camp ground & will tell everyone we meet how unethical, smarmy, non compassionate, non family friendly the owners are.
