Sleepy Hollow can get a little noisy

The campground is located directly next to a train track that had traffic on it during our stay. It was only one train in the late afternoon which was fine for us. The campground is a standard commercial campground with simple amenities. Its best selling point is how close it is to the city of Wall and The Badlands. If you have any trouble with your rig or gear (like we did) the Ace Hardware Store is incredibly helpful. However, if you are comfortable with boondocking you are less than 15 minutes from the coolest place I have ever camped, "The Wall Dispersed Camping".

Quiet with convenient access to everything the Black Hills have to offer.

Whether you are tent camping, pulling a trailer or want a cabin this campground has it all. The shower facility on site is very clean for a state park. A quick drive to Mt. Rushmore, Iron Mt. Road,  Needles HWY, or Crazy Horse. The unbelievable Custer State Park wildlife loop is less than 15 minutes away. Don't miss the wildlife loop.

Sunrise or sunset, views you’ll never forget!

My wife and I spent two nights here with our Lab and wished we had spent at least two more. It’s a bit bumpy getting in and out, but we were able to do it with a standard SUV and 22ft Airstream. Go for it, it’s worth it!
