Lovely, quiet campground to spend the night. Large open sites along the river. Pit toilets.
Was the only person there when I stayed on a Sunday night. Rough road to get out there, but my Rav4 with no 4WD made it. Will be on your right with some wooden posts around the gravel area. Felt very remote which made me a little nervous as a solo female traveler, but would be a great spot with others or as a confident solo camper.
Nice, not too expensive campground just outside of Custer State Park. Nice sites with very clean bathrooms/showers. I had no service when I stayed there, so be prepared for that.
Great dispersed camp site a minute or two off of I90 (can hear the road noise). There were other people there when I stayed in August but everyone was quiet and kept to themselves. Felt safe sleeping there in my car as a solo female traveler.
