This is actually a 5-star campground in terms of cleanliness and amenities. Nice bathrooms, showers, electric, drinking water, playground, and all that. It’s basically a wide open field with a few trees and no privacy, which isn’t my usual style and that’s why it’s only a 4 star for me. The cavern tour is also great, fun, beautiful, informative…
This is a great campsite. Siri took me on some crazy roads to get to it, but she got me there, but be aware that Siri might not be the best directions to get you there. The host had raked and cleaned our site very nicely prior to our arrival. The pit toilets were clean. Lots of signage about bears so it’s a spot to work hard at putting your attractants away.
This spot is unbelievable. Gorgeous views. Buffalo in the campground. Quiet, private enough, clean pot toilets, secure bear garbages. Just amazing!
This is a pretty good spot. When we were there in June the campground was having a Halloween celebration and my daughter loved it. There’s good trails to walk and it’s generally quiet. Sites aren’t very private, but the people were nice. It seemed to be more of a “locals” campground.
