Peffect for getting outside of the crowds of Estas Park and not have to go into RMNP. Well shaded in most places but there isn't any underbrush at all. You are only 1 to 2 trees away from all the neighbors and there is little to nothing blocking views for privacy. But the facilities were clean and in good shape.

Great little spot to go for a weekend get away. Primitive sites all the way up to family, ADA, and full service sites. Attendants are always friendly. And the place is very clean. That includes the bath and shower facilities that were recently updated. There are enough easy to mid level trails in the park to keep you busy for a day or two, along with a small lake that has rentable kayaks. $10 a person for 2 hours. You have to keep your food and trash locked down over night. Close to town so there are trash pandas everywhere.
