We were there for 7 days and loved it. Paddling most days great hiking and biking. We were on site 6 but site 7 had great shade in the PM.

Very convenient grest sites and super acces to Trails. Stayed in May 2024

Our spot was about 3km in on Lockhart Rd. Indian Creek falls are just up the road. Fantastic spot we where there 2024.05.27.

Dissapointed arrived 2024.05.21 to find a locked gate.

Part of Chutes and Ladders. We stayed on site 9, 2024.05.20. The spot is huge. You hear the highway below but that dies down at night. Fantastc views of Mesa Verde.

Sites are nice. Is right on the San Juan. Great for Kayaking. Put my Kayak in the water in Bluff and paddled to the campground.

We found a spot about 3km in from the 163 entrance. Great views. Windy in the afrernoon but dies down around 5pm.

We trully enjoyed our stay. Close to the sights. The campground is a little rough along the edges but the sites are great. There is a great hiking trail that starts at the campground and goes to the canyon. Howard the owner is very friendly and a wealth of information.
