Nice overnight if you’re traveling I-40. Nice staff, clean pool, well maintained sites. Great spot to stay and then visit the city during the day. Close to Cedro Peak mountain biking and hiking trails.
Was very cold when I was here, low about 12° also got hit with 40-60 mile an hour winds - Strongest I’ve experienced in six years traveling in this RV. However since I was hooked up at this park everything turned out OK. Less expensive spots are not level so I chose the more expensive option. No cell and weak WiFi reception, so I was not able to use phone or computer.
Stayed for one night. Arrived on foot trail via a Little Dominguez Canyon going to Big Dominguez Canyon. Half of Campground is on one side of the river need four-wheel-drive to cross the river.
