This campground was pretty good. We got two sites right next to each other and they were combined which was neat. Bathrooms were clean, showers were questionable. The store only accepts cash and there were a bunch of teenagers working that clearly didn't want to be there.
One of the times we were swimming, it was just about sundown and we were the last ones there. Someone screamed at us from the beach to get out.
Overall it was quiet, but a lot of the surrounding seasonals didn't turn off they're canopy lights or party lights all night making it very bright.
The real selling point is long lake. It's beautiful, clean and incredibly fun to be on.
Very pretty location. If you eat, breath and live off atvs, this is the place for you. They were continuously driving around and past the campsite all day, making it a bit hard to relax when you are a non atv owner.
Otherwise its a great location, right next to the canyon you can swim in. Wasn't close enough to hear the stream at night in the wilderness sites. Dog friendly and everyone seemed to obey the rules. Very clean bathrooms that were conveniently located.
Wonderful water access. Cabins, RVs and tents all welcome. Clean facilities and a nice store making it so you don't have to leave! Staff does a very good job at planned activities to keep children entertained.
Very family friendly. Nice food shack next to the water for when you are hungry after a swim.
Watch out for the leaches!
Great little campground right next to the notch. Could hear the coyotes from afar during the night.
Very clean bathroom with incredibly friendly staff.
Went on a four day wilderness trip. Very nice being several miles out on logging roads away from any towns or noise.
Incredibly buggy. Site was advertise as next to the river, but had to walk through heavy vegetation to even see it.
