campground is located a couple miles from the main lodge, miles of hiking trails, kayak rental available. the sites range from primitive to fill rv.

Beautiful state park camp ground

Located about 2 miles from the main entrance of starved rock, the campground books up fast during the summer, reservations are usually needed. Great sites, friendly staff and all around beautiful area.

Next door to starved rock state park

Open field primitive camping, price is $8.00 per person. Located behind papa murphs bar right across the street from St. Louis canyon at starved rock state park

Waterfront sites, kayaking, right next to a state park

Camp sites are dotted next to the shore of the river, there’s kayak rentals, and there’s enough space for multiple tents on one site. If you forgot your tent they rent them out as well.
