I like the area

The pre made camping areas are nice. Fire pit, picnic tables and the restrooms are close by…if that's what you call camping. Otherwise, there is a lot of areas to find a spot and pitch a tent. Do be aware of the off road trails and mountain bike trails.

Beautiful and over crowded

I cant express how much I love this forest but I loathe camping next to someone. There are just to many people, coming and going for this spot to be relaxing.

Beautiful..but too many people.

Tillamook national forest is one of my favorite places in the world. Only one problem…there are just too many people. You really have to go deep to get away. Try an old logging road. Just be careful its easy to get lost and cell phones don't work.

So quite..so beautiful

An excellent spot. Great views and a good chance no one else is around.

Love this mountain

Great spot. Just a few miles past duck creek village. Summer time alway brings a lot of off road activities, so I wouldn't camp close to trails. Can be windy at times but the beauty of this place is worth the minor inconveniences.

A hit or miss.

Plenty of room to camp…if you can find a road in. Coal creek is fed by snow melt and dosen't always run all year long. This can be a great spot..if your lucky.

The beauty is breath taking.

Plenty of room to camp. Lots of tourists in the summer.. expect lots of side by sides and atvs.

Lovely place, full of tourists

I love duck creek. Great Camping if you can get away from all the tourist and their off road toys. Lots of trails to ride, if that's your thing. Summer time can bring a lot of people in and you can't camp there during winter.
