Just trying to get back to nature , and finding cool and new places to discover.

Lots of room

Had a great experience with this dispersed area. Campsite was close to the river. Able to find it easily. Lots of road traffic with UTV’s and vehicles. Which was a bit annoying, but overall I’d still give it a 5 Star

Quaint and quiet

Page Springs is a decent campground, plenty of room in between sites that I could gather. Campers were quiet and friendly. Staff was polite at first, but then at checkout we felt pressured to get out as we were running behind by 11 minutes. And the way we were approached was extremely rude and aggressive. Might stay again……. And if you do stay……don’t stay past check out of 11am or the cranky old lady will come around in her cart and yell at you.

Beautiful New Mexico Canyon

Although had a bit of trouble finding it (don’t trust google maps) Once finally arrived it is a widely spaced canyon that has you surrounded by rocks in a desert setting. Although a bit windy on first night because all canyon (wall protected) areas were taken. Simply gorgeous area.

It’s a gem

Friendly staff, great area. Campgrounds clean. KOA Kabin was better than I expected. Wi-Fi password available. Tv in cabin l, heated, toilet and shower. Great place to stay whether just passing through, or staying awhile. Definitely coming back.

Awesomesauce

After arriving, I could already tell this place was well maintained and respected by all who camp here. Very spacious, lots of tree cover. Traveled here for Overland Expo West 2021 and couldn’t have been more pleased with the location chosen. Although a bit cramped with all the overlanders that came. Was definitely a great place to camp. I will return.

Good Campsite

Campsite well maintained, lots of ground to walk, creek nearby for fishing. Awesome bathroom. Only a 4 star as way too much traffic rolling by on main dirt road to other parts of park and creek. And not enough shade. Couldn’t set up my awning as the ground was extremely rocky and cement like. Campsites had bits of trash from other campers. So I practiced the “Pack it in, pack it out” method….even from previous campers.

Quiet and Clean

The campground is very well maintained, camp host makes sure that restrooms are clean and smell free. Campsites are clean. Actual sites are paved, with gravel areas for tents. Fire pits are large and well built. Nice walking path along the stream/creek. Good place to take a walk after munching down on your favorite camp food.

Fantastic Getaway

Once again, the folks at Last Resort provided a great time. Stayed 2 nights, and were able to get us in earlier than the normal Check in time. Also, I have got to say their showers are so nice and powerful after having camped over 4 days in New Mexico and Colorado. Love the fact they have ice readily available when you need it. Definitely a must visit or stay along your travels.

Pretty Views

Depending on which spot you book, you’ll get some decent views of Heron Lake. Campsites are decent size, with a few bigger than others…so choose wisely and pay attention to the photos supplied. But overall, the campsites are well maintained and clean. If you enjoy fishing, it’s only a small hike to the water.

Quiet and peaceful

Arrived at Last Resort and immediately fell in love with this campsite. Site was well maintained and level. You didn’t feel like you were on top of one another at the tent sites. Staff was friendly and occasionally checked up on you, to make sure your stay was pleasant. Will be returning for a longer visit for sure.
