beautiful & rustic yet close to town
we arrived friday around 1pm with a couple spots to choose from. we had site 27. it was a primitive site which entailed a small walk through the woods from parking to the spot. it had a little view of the lake though mostly blocked by trees. there are plenty of sites on the bluff overlooking the water though. the only complaint I have is that it’s rather expensive ($30) given the minimal maintenence they seem to do. trees could be trimmed to provide better views and the bathrooms were pretty unkept, but that’s to be expected. super conveniently located close to town but still feels woodsy
