Loved our stay

We stayed here for about a week. It’s only 2.5 miles from the west glacier entrance and on the same side as the bike path for easy safe access. It’s a very clean and quiet campground. They have some nice sites surrounded by tall pines and some for larger RVs more in the open. Cute little cafe and store as well. At the time we couldn’t have a fire but they provide one nightly and it was perfect for our kids to toast marshmallows. We appreciated that because the parents were often too tired to deal with a fire after long days hiking, swimming and exploring the beautiful area.

Good

We spent one night here. The kids really enjoyed the pool but it closes at 8 so plan accordingly. It was quiet and the staff was friendly. It’s clean. The grass was a bit long at our site but they would have easily let us switch. My biggest complaint was that a nearby dumpster was overflowing and in plain view of our campsite- very smelly and an eyesore to look at. Bathrooms were very clean but no locks on any of the doors and clear outer shower curtains in the mens room lacking privacy.

Excellent KOA

We’ve grown to depend on KOAs on our cross country road trips and have stayed at many. This is the nicest one we’ve stayed at. Pool was great. Bathrooms were very clean and well maintained. Our gravel site had a nice shady tree and well maintained grass and fire pit. Cleanliness is my top priority and this place gets an A+.

Great!

We spent one night here. Our kids were entertained by the pool, jumping pad, etc. Quiet at night. Bathrooms were clean.

Good!

Very reasonable price for our one nights stay. We arrived late and left early. Kids enjoyed the pool. Showers and bathrooms were fine. Very close together sites but served its purpose. The campground was packed since it was a Saturday and it was incredibly quiet at night. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Nice campground

This campground has lots of shade and grassy sites. The grounds are very well maintained. The bathrooms and showers were very clean. It was extremely quiet. The kids enjoyed the pool. It was perfect for our one nights stay. We would return.

Nice campground

We were able to get a FF site. It’s clean and has showers and laundry. It is a dusty campground from the dirt roads and cars driving around. It’s a bit pricey but it’s only a 30 minute drive to Colter Bay and a 1/2 mile walk to the Snake River. Lots of nice trails to walk. We walked along the river and did Huckleberry hot springs. We stayed 2 nights and had to move to a different FF site that did not have a bear box.
